Screen for Installing EID Middleware repeatedly appears

When a user attempts to log in to the CIA, a screen from the EID identity provider continually prompts for the installation of EID Middleware.

Solution:

1. Uninstall the EID Middleware from the computer.
2. Reinstall the EID Middleware on the computer.
3. Register the EID Middleware as an extension on the computer.

If the issue persists, you must delete the WOW6432Node entries in the registry:

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Google\Chrome\NativeMessagingHosts

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Mozilla\NativeMessagingHosts\be.econtract.eid
